my best friend in Revelle College and we’re both from Vancouver! haha anyhows, her mom called UCSD and apparently, the lady said that they realized that they had about 450 spots left, thus they automatically accepted the next 450 qualified applicants from the original admission list! I hope this help any confused people on why they accepted waitlisted applicants before May 1st.</p>
<p>I got in to Roosevelt but my major is biochemistry…I feel like it’ll be a waste of time for me because of all the GEs I have to take that don’t apply to my major…how hard is it to switch out to Warren and Muir (they were my first and second choice)</p>

I think I’m going to call them anyway and ask why I’m undeclared. >_>; And see if they can offer me a decent explanation, or else I’m going to ask for them to change my major back to what I applied for.</p>
<p>Do you know if being undeclared impacts choosing classes? Cause my original major is bio, so wouldn’t it be impacted or something like that?</p>

so technically, we didn’t get off of the waitlist. I don’t feel too stupid anymore…but they still messed up my major. blegh.</p>

<p>I got into UCI, UCSB, UCD and now I just got accepted to UCSD two days ago and I’m going! I was accepted to Revelle. Does anyone want a room mate? :-)</p>

<p>okay also like really important question about waitlist people…for housing it says we have to fill it out by may 1st but when I click on it, it says that the information will come out later since we’re waitlisters…does that mean we don’t do anything for housing for may 1st?? Do we have to do anything else other than the SIR??</p>

<p>@happen I got in off the waitlist before the may 1st deadline but since it was off the waitlist, they said that they sent the housing application for me already. If you got in off the waitlist, they should have done it for you, too. I just got an e-mail from them saying that they sent it in for me, too.</p>
<p>You don’t have anything else to do for housing until they send you the housing contract later this month, I think. As long as you submitted your SIR before May 1st you should be good with the housing stuff until they e-mail you again.</p>
