<p>I've been waitlisted at a couple of my top choice schools namely Tufts and UPenn. I want to write them a letter showing them my interest in each college and how I fit in. However, I've been faced with two differing approaches: 1. write an ultra brief (one paragraph) letter letting them know my continued interest and what my goals are for each institution 2. write them a more thorough letter also showing my interest and goals for the institution. Personally I prefer the second method, however the first method was suggested to me by two different English teachers.</p>
