Okay so I was waitlist accepted to Uconn and sent in my application for housing around June 8th-ish, almost a month after the deadline for guaranteed on-campus housing. Only thing is that I was accepted to the school after the deadline had already passed, and the only reason I'm bringing all of this up is that I still haven't heard back about housing and with all of these posts I've read on other websites about being on the housing waitlist basically guarantees that you won't get housing, I'm starting to get a little worried. Has anyone else had to deal with this? Is there anyone I could get in contact with to fix this issue?

You should contact residential life. Ask to speak to someone from the administration, not a student worker. There is a major chance that you will not get housing, but perhaps your circumstance will allow you to.
