I was wait listed at Dartmouth and UChicago, and I would like to add extra info to the letter saying I still really want to go. What sort of stuff should I put up? I'm co-writing a book and doing research with a political military guy (his book, he just said I can help with some writing and research). He's fairly known in politics; is that something I could say that I'm doing? I'm also a finalist for a pretty big engineering scholarship; should I add that or is that not needed?

Any sort of academic updates? I had two incompletes semester one because of major cardio-thoracic surgery (which my counselor forget to mention when updating colleges as to why I have two incompletes...), should I add that I've bounced back and have been doing well in any specific class? I did particularly well on a government test and the teacher wrote me a poem because it was the highest score he's had in 15 years! Is something like that too specific, or would it benefit me to add it on the letter?

Thanks! Any information is appreciated...

If this doesn't work... Vassar Class of 2018 SO EXCITED!!! :) :) :)
