<p>Have any of you heard about anyone getting off the waiting list till now?</p>
<p>still waiting,not sure if they will use the waitinglist this year,</p>
<p>Yeah, I contacted one of the Admissions Officers in charge of international applications and he said that it’s pretty unlikely that they’ll be going to the waiting list for international students this year.
So, ■■■ :(</p>

<p>Has anyone called admissions to ask about the wait list for those students who are NOT international? Seems like they were willing to give out info for the international pool. Perhaps they will be as open wbout the domestic student’s chances as well.</p>
<p>I’m a domestic student and I got off the waitlist 
Through HEOP though</p>
<p>I called the admissions office asking when they would start accepting/rejecting wait listed students. They told me that they were going to wait until they received their deposits from the admitted students pool(I called before the may 1 deadline) to notify the waitlisted applicants of their admissions status. They also said that in the meantime, you should write a letter expressing your interest in Hamilton (what you like about the school, why you want to go, etc.). I wrote them a nice little 3 paragraph letter.</p>
<p>Around 1-2 weeks later, I received a call from an admissions officer saying that I was offered a spot off the wait list, the condition being that I complete the HEOP summer program. I was surprised by this at first because I didn’t know anything about HEOP, nor did I apply to it. I ended up accepting it because Hamilton was one of my top choices.</p>
<p>Basically, I think the letter of interest is what helped…good luck and stay positive!</p>
<p>Honestly, now I don’t think that Hamilton will be using their W/L for atleast international students this year! Feels terrible :/</p>
