There is a math class that a want to register to but the discussion session was closed and I was waiting listed. I do not know the policy for the waiting list. What do you my chances are of getting into the class?

Very Low, I know many people who were #1 on the waiting list and still didn’t get those classes. I would backpack a few more classes on wolverine access as a back-up plan

^
Says the person who is an incoming freshman lol.

I’ve never had a problem getting in off of the waitlist. Be sure to attend the first class and speak with the instructor. You should be able to get in, but it may take a couple weeks after classes start.

usually when i’m on the waiting list, i get an override from nowhere. I just wait. I’ve never had problems getting into a class when i’m on the waitlist.

lol FearlessBlue911 nice try

so after you are wait listed what do you do?

You just wait. Do what blackpen says and attend the first class and speak with the professor about getting an override. Also, because people are switching classes left and right, chances are you’ll probably get into the class. Once there’s a spot open, you’ll get an email asking you to register. I think the deadline is a day? but I might be wrong. Can’t remember.

Lol at students that haven’t even been to college posting here or on the college life forums Haha.

I had a math class last semester where we fit about 40the kids in a small room, a lot had to stand in the back, just because they we’re on the waitlist but wanted to show they wanted to get in the class. Annoying fir those of us that actually registered fir the class

I think once you receive an override you have 3 days to accept it.
