Waiting List

What other AS Levels have you done? Did you do them in the last year of GCSE or did you take those on in the first year of A-Levels?

Have done Biology and Critical Thinking AS.

Did Biology last year, and Critical Thinking in Jan 05.

I am now doing Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics A Level, and Further Mathematics AS Level.

I assure you that getting As in all of these subjects is not easy.

sure =) labours doing such a wunnerful job with public schools and uni entry... i just read about how being sick or having your pet die on exam day nets you bonus marks in GCEs. gee.

Michael Howard wants to stand down because he'll be too old to lead the party in the next five years.

And backbenchers are demanding Blair step down and let Gordon Brown take over.

"sure =) labours doing such a wunnerful job with public schools and uni entry... i just read about how being sick or having your pet die on exam day nets you bonus marks in GCEs. gee."

It doesn't necessarily net you bonus marks. Being sick on exam day would affect your performance - believe it or not. You would have to have a medical certificate in any case.

hash, I didn't know that they did a Critical Thinking AS level or A Level. I just thought it was an AEA exam.

What exam board are all your A Levels?

inuendo, my critical thinking was an AS. maybe it's new? I'm not too sure.

All my exams are with Edexcel (London), but Critical thinking was either AQA or OCR (can't remember which!).

so anything from stanford or anything relevant to the waiting list yet?

justin

www.purevolume.com/thechairsak
ps are they gonna go to their waitlist and how do they figuer out if they will do this?

Do we get credits for A-Levels, because otherwise, I'm really ripping myself off. Or something like that... Dammit. Why did I take GEneral Studies? I had no idea they were did a Critical Studies course.

I'm doing the AEA Religious Studies thing. NO idea how to prepare for it. -___-" haha just kidding. P3 on monday!!!!

Ya, all my subjects are Edexcel as well Hash. Did your school switch over to the new Edexcel maths syllabus with the 3 Pure units broken into 4 "Core Units"? As a result, we now only have to do either M1, M2 or S1, S2, so S3 and M3 have been dropped from the course.

Star Wars Three Is Pwnage.

inuendo, my school also switched to the new core maths system. It does make the overall A level a little easier.

Yes, far easier, although A-Level Maths is already easy. Did you have to take your core units in January then, C1 and C2?

yep, got 100 in both. I'm on 298/300 for AS maths (98 in M1 as well).

Oh ok, I'm doing Stats. I've finished S1, S2, C1, C2. I'm on 397/400. So, I only have two maths exams next month!

not to brag or anything but i got a really super duper high score on my Enland achievement tests( whiich are the S1, S2, C1. C2. and As math and studentsn crap tests). Theyre like 293 and then you like times it by like infinity. thats my score. its pretty flippin awesome. I friggin aced my English Standardized tests of England in English. i got like a million points but im not braggin or anything like that crap. btw, i cant believe you only have two math exams next month. i have at least like 13.465 to go. well keep on trying anyway.
