<p>囧！Please help me! I'm trying to transfer to North Carolina and I'm on the waiting list.
People say I could call and maybe I could have a better chance to let them reconsider..
I don't know what to do.....</p>
<p>Here is my situation:
I'm currently in China, in an international program in a prestigious national university where teachers are all hired in the US with high standards, all course are designed as American Universities all in English (books are also bought from the States)
Freshman year GPA: 3.93 (4.0, 3.86)
Sophomore year GPA: 3.97 (3.93, 4.0)
Major: Communications
Ranking: top 1%
I've got plenty of extracuriculum activities</p>
<p>Though my high school grades are not very good, because the system in China is different, we tend to have very difficult test, so the score can't present anything, but the ranking in class and the whole grade is much more important. I ranked top 15% in my high school. However, I don't think they will understand.....</p>
<p>Do you think calling them will work? What should I say?</p>
