Waiting on Rutgers...still?

Bah. Okay so, I'm no ivy leaguer, but I am a college bound student. I applied to Rutgers NB in October and am still waiting for my decision. I know of 2 people that got rejected already...one with not even a 1000 SAT and one with a 3.1 GPA and a 1150 SAT. I have a 3.7 GPA with a 1040 SAT and am still waiting. Should I take it as a bad sign that they didn't get to me yet, or is it just taking some time?

Have you heard anything from them?
I think Rutgers is rolling admission so I'm surprised you don't have an answer yet.

check your status online - thats how i found out i got in. log in as you would to do ur online app. it will send you to a message. click on status and then it may tell you. good luck.

Check your status online. I did my application at the end of December and heard within three weeks, so I'm surprised you haven't heard yet. Now ... because Rutgers had a change in the Dean of Admissions, I wouldn't be entirely surprised if your application was held up, but you should have already heard.

Joey

I have checked online and nothing. The last time they said they "updated" my file was 2/4/05 so...I'm really starting to get nervous..

Which colleges within Rutgers did you apply to? Did you apply to a lot of them? cos that might be holding it up as each college considers the applications seperately. generally, livingston is the easiest to get into and rutgers the hardest... anyways, in my experience, their admissions office is kinda messed up- they lost my transcript- TWICE! and i had to send them new ones each time. but once i they recieved my transcript i was let in pretty quickly.

good luck. i'll prolly be going there next year so i might see you. lol.

Yeah, I want to go to Livingston, but I applied for Livingston, Rutgers and Douglass (bah, no way).

What were your stats if you don't mind me asking, and which campus did you get into at Rutgers?

i have a 3.4 and a 1460. i applied and got into rutgers, cook and livingston i think. but dont worry if you dont get into the campus of your choice. i heard its pretty easy to transfer from one college to another.

So, do you think I should worry or no with my stats?

My cousin got into Rutgers, but he wants to go to Cooper Union

What were his stats?

1400 SAT, highly competitive technical high school in NJ, 3.5
