I recently received my UD acceptance to their Chemical Engineering program, but in the acceptance letter it stated I would hear about my honors decision by the end of march. I was just curious if this is normal or it indicates a lower chance of acceptance. For reference I applied to UD on 12/15.
there are a lot of people who have commented and said they are in this situation too who seem to be more towards being borderline candidates for the program, what are your stats?

Awards: CKSF Scholarship Award Biology and Chemistry, AP Scholar With Distinction Award, Pre Calc Honors achievement award (Highest average in my class)
Employment- Worked at my grandfathers restaurant over the summer.
Teacher recommendations are very good. My common app essay is not finished yet.
