Waiting on Udel Honors program

I recently received my UD acceptance to their Chemical Engineering program, but in the acceptance letter it stated I would hear about my honors decision by the end of march. I was just curious if this is normal or it indicates a lower chance of acceptance. For reference I applied to UD on 12/15.

there are a lot of people who have commented and said they are in this situation too who seem to be more towards being borderline candidates for the program, what are your stats?
