Waiting, waiting, waiting...

So, it really sucks that almost all of my friends have heard from SOMEWHERE already. They did ED or EA or their schools have rolling admissions, or early notification if they're up for scholarships or something. If it's not their first choice they've heard from, it's their second or safety, and at least they know that they're in somewhere... I still have heard from NO ONE! I applied RD everywhere and I think the earliest I get to hear from anyone is March 30th.

Yet everyone and their mom still insists on asking me, "so what colleges have you heard from?"

I'm going crazy. I don't want to wait two more months!!!

Is anyone else here in the same boat?

How do I cope? Is there any good comeback to the colleges questions? or do I still just shuffle my feet and mumble "well.. no...."?

Paint an 'R' on ur right cheek and a 'D' on the left...

As for this, everybody save for a few where I live (Chennai,India) doesnt know as Indian admissions start in April - June

alscharr- i couldn't have said it any better. i am in the EXACT same situation as you are. lol and it doesn't help that at my job i work with some really senile people who ask me that same question every freakin' time i work! i'm going insane lol
i think we should make t-shirts that blatantly tell people not to even say the word college around us until april

same situation here too...i have like a form answer now. if someone asks me where i applied, i repeat my litany of colleges, and if somebody asks me my first choice i say notre dame. but i simply can't stand ppl who know where i applied (and that i applied rd) asking me EVERY DAY at school or church or wherever, "have you heard from anyone yet?" honestly, a lot of my friends don't know what the words RD mean. april 1st, people! i wish they'd just remember that date, and shut up till then. :o
