Waitlist 2010

Called Arts and Sciences, they told me they will know for sure whether or not they’re going to the waitlist by the end of this week and that if you’re accepted, they’ll call. if not, they’ll notify you by mail.

ahh, well if it’s the end of this week, good luck everyone!

For those of us waiting on Engineering:

Waitlist decisions will be sent out with in the next month or so; there isn’t a specific time frame. At the very latest you will find out the decision in late June.

Soooo specific (:

^ Ahh, their information really helps us, right? =P

Good Lucks guys. Hope I may see you next year as a freshman

It’s the weekend now… what is up with these guys? put us out of our misery.

Got a letter (snail mail) from Engineering formally rejecting me.

I guess that means they’ve started releasing decisions.
and I’m sorry :/

I wonder how many people-if any-they accepted from WL.

I’m sorry to hear this Nitro Hawk

@Nitro Hawk: If it was snail mail, do you mind sharing with us where you live? Maybe then we can sort of gauge when our own decisions will arrive? Thanks (:

Boise, Idaho…

you’ll get a call if you get in, a letter isnt much of a thing to (: about

they probably didn’t release the whole waitlist though so no news is sort of good news (at least for CoE).

What about international applicants? Do we get a call too?

That’s sad, Nitro. Where will you be headed now?

And yes, about international applicants - they aren’t rejecting us via snail mail, I hope? Because that way it’ll take forever for us to find out.

They’re definitely rejecting by snail mail, because I got my letter yesterday from AEM. :/

georgia tech

ahh! this sucks, so I guess that’s it. I haven’t gotten a letter yet, but I figure it’s coming.
Sigh, oh well guys, it was fun while it lasted.
Post if you get a call or letter!

If they’ve started releasing decisions (at least for CoE), when do you think they’ll finishing releasing their decisions? Because my heart’s been beating fast every time I hear the phone ring and my fingers get nervous ever time I go to get the mail. I’d like for this to be over, really. I mean, transfer applicants have a good chance at Cornell. At least that’s what I’ve heard.

I called and they said they haven’t seen movement as far as their waitlist goes, but I guess June will be the latest they’ll call or mail any information. But transferring to Cornell i’ve heard is pretty easy.

ah, okay i feel like i’m going to be the bearer of bad news saying this but cornell released their yield for this year and it’s 49% which was exactly their yield last year, which means if history repeats itself they won’t be going to the waitlist this year either (last year 0 students were taken off the waitlist) ): so I’d get excited about the school you’re going to next year!

I just spoke to the College of Engineering. For what it’s worth, I was told that it’s very unlikely and they’re not accepting people right now but whatever they decide, they’ll let us know by the end of June.
