rubin, where were you already registered for (it opens up a spot)…curious

Rejection…

Furda said they kept a “small list of students.” I wonder how small that list really was…

Has anyone gotten acceptance emails today or has it all been rejections?

hi guys - i was just notified by email that i am going to be kept on the extended waitlist and that a small number of students will be too… this is a copy of the email below:

On behalf of the Admissions Office, thank you for your continued interest in the University of Pennsylvania. Although our class for this fall is now full, it is possible that a few spots will become available during the summer. We are inviting a small number of students, including you, to remain active on the Waiting List. I realize that this opportunity prolongs the uncertainty of your plans for the fall. However, we want to give you every opportunity to be considered for a seat in the Class of 2014.

We expect to know whether we will extend any additional offers of admission by the end of June. Again, we appreciate your keen interest in Penn and will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

Hi all,

I was rejected from Penn today (only hours after I was accepted to Harvard)! Busy day for college admissions.

Best of luck to everyone,

Matt

dx992 ---- congrats. Where did you originally decide to go (a spot opens there)?

Also placed on extended waitlist for CAS… Does anyone know how many people are still on it?

Rejected off waitlist for Wharton today.

I had deposited at Emory University.

Matt

Just got rejected from Wharton today.
UChicago c/o 2014 for me!

I also received my rejection letter today.
It definitely shocked me, but surprisingly, I don’t feel super disappointed. (Maybe it’s because I haven’t told anybody about it yet (just saw it a minute ago) and haven’t gotten the uncomfortable “awws” or the disappointed looks of my parents).

But at the same time, maybe it’s because I was preparing for USP so much that I’m just glad to be certain about which college I’m attending next year.

Best of luck and wishes to all those placed on the extended waiting list though!
I feel like this letter is motivating me to work harder though~

put on extended waitlist…
