<p>No I have not. If you really want answers I suggest that you contact the admissions officer for your area at Duke. Mine was very responsive to questions, although vague in response to getting definitive info. I think my son has moved on but still would like to know if he could get a spot from the extended wait list…</p>
<p>tigershockeylax - thanks for letting us know that Duke has an extended waitlist. That piece was vague. Learned nothing new - they are reassessing as kids get off other waitlists and there is a “summer melt”. Good luck to your son!!</p>
<p>I am just assuming that they have an extended wait list, as he has received no communication , like the others on this thread, that the wait list is closed. After July 1st he will have to make serious commitment to another school, register for classes, make tuition payments, etc. He already has his room assignment and room mate. At this point it is really just a curiosity if he will be offered a spot</p>
