Waitlisted. Anyone going to accept?
I was waitlisted (along with 3 other schools), but got an email today basically saying that they would accept me if I commit to them. Did anyone else get anything like this?
All- my son declined spot at Connecticut College today. He is informing all of the places he will not be accepting a spot from today, in order to free up spots for those waiting. I am hoping others are doing the same to open up spots for those who’ve been placed on the waitlist. It’s better to let all the colleges you are declining know vs just letting their offer lapse on 5/2. You never know if you will want to go to grad school somewhere down the road, so it’s best to use good manners and politely decline and thank them for their kind offer. Besides it’s the right thing to do for those anxiously hoping a spot opens for them. Good luck to all!
