Yeh, I am also a little stuck as I’m intl and have a lot of fin need. I applied to Smith, Wellesley, Barnard, Vassar, Colby, Bates, Bryn Mawr, Hamilton and MoHo. I don’t mind the rejection, I was sort of expecting it as I went in basically blind and had to learn on the job so to speak, but I am much more prepared for next year :)

I got rejected Smith ED II and I was absolutely devastated. I also applied to Colby and got rejected. I’m also on Bryn Mawr wait list.
Wellesley and Hamilton are very, very selective.

Yeh I think if I have to reapply next year I have a better idea of where to apply and the process so I have a better chance, I hope :)

Wow yeah those are some pretty selective schools for the both of you! I don’t know why but I really felt like the decision would be out today…do you think we’ll get called or emailed or find it on Isis?

I have no idea, I don’t think we’ll hear before next week tbh, but it’ll probably be email, or an email telling us to check Isis.

Yeah probably…ughhh asdfghjkl; it’s killing me!!

I’m trying to stay positive, waiting means they’re reviewing, waiting means not making a snap decision, waiting means trying to see if they can work it out. We want them to take their time, because we want them to seriously consider us :)

Absolutely. Really the only thing that will help us through this is being positive. But that’s a good way to look at it!

I have to say I am quite jealous of my friends who have already committed to a school!

Oh god me too, I just want to know one way or the other so I can make plans

Samesamesame!

Omg I have to stop going onto Isis it’s getting kind of obsessive at this point hahah

Decisions CAN’T be tomorrow. There are loads of accepted people who can’t decide where to transfer their deposit until the April 30th midnight; it’s highly unlikely MoHo admissions stay awake all night and calculate the numbers and then start reviewing wait list applications
Last year my friend got accepted Spring from wait list on 13th May…

ISIS is currently unavailable.
ISIS is unavailable everyday from 4:00 AM to 6:00 AM for scheduled maintenance and occasionally needs to be taken off-line for other maintenance or upgrade tasks.
Please try again later.

Are they uploading decisions? :(

Unlikely, it goes offline every day from 4am to 6am local time. It’s currently 10 past 5 there so it’s just scheduled down time don’t panic! It’s not even May 1st yet :)

Haha thanks
It’s like half past 2 pm here
I hate the time difference thing
I get emails at so unlikely times and my tablet makes weird noise
ruins my sleep cycle :D

I know haha so annoying, I don’t know if I should send more info or not arghhh

@MattieR91

Have you sent some info before? I’ve sent a motivation letter, new extracurricular activities list, photographic supplement, increased family contribution (new employer statement). Also told them I’d love to be accepted Spring and it’s 100% chance that i’ll enroll in case I’m accepted.
I also have some creative writing supplement but I think that’s gonna be too much.
I wanted to make a video and sent that in.
People do make video essays right? but that’s … blaah dunno too extravagant

Come on Mount Holyoke!
Admit me and I’ll make meaningful contributions to your community
I will be one of the best students ever I promise
I’m very dedicated
and motivated

:(

haha :D

Okay

I’m dying now that May 1th is approaching

So far I sent a letter (via email) as soon as I accepted my waitlist place with extra info. I’ve emailed with questions, mentioned that I would def enrol and would accept Spring too. I also had an informal chat with an alum and she advised sending in some extra writing so I did that. I feel like this is a really fine line between being proactive and being annoying haha

What time zone are you guys in?!

I’m GMT (2:15pm at the moment) you?

Sorry for the randomness haha…yeah I did the same things as you guys! I’ve emailed a bunch of admissions people, given updates about my grades and awards, and sent in a letter from my English teacher who is a MHC graduate. I’ve said the same things you guys have, about being willing to accept Spring admissions, and my passion for coming here and the guarantee that I will come I accepted. At this point I feel like all we can do it wait. Any more information could be superfluous and might seem a bit desperate.

Although the idea of the video crossed my mind as well :)
