Hi,

I am on the waitlist for CS61A this summer and was wondering what my chances of getting in are. There are 105 students maximum in the class and I am the 8th person on the waitlist.

Also, I am waitlisted in EE42 (in summer) as the 3rd student on the waitlist, but there are only 24 students maximum in the class.

Please let me know what my chances of getting in are.
Thanks in advance!

I don’t know specifics for that class but in my experience out of 105 people in a summer class AT LEAST 10 will drop.
Good luck!

Thanks, but what about EECS class?

bump Please help

General advice: go to the first class meeting of any class you are waitlisted for; explain the situation to the professor and express your interest. Keep attending the class (with permission of the professor) and do the work until enough people drop to make room for you.

Thanks for the response, but the only problem is that the LAB section (EECS43) conflicts with the lecture of CS61A.

Should I skip the lab on the first day? Or is it required? Note that the first LAB section is before the first lecture for EECS42.
