anyone know stats of people who were waitlisted and then accepted

"Waiting list" not accepted '04. Although, that was for transfer. I don't believe they keep those stats.

Well just the odds of getting in from the waitlist are pretty slim (in 2002 there were 2029 waitlist students but only 150 got in) I am sure the stats are pretty much the same as for regular because being waitlisted just means that UVA wants you, but there aren't enough seats.

Word of advice:
If your waitlisted write a letter to convey your interest in UVA, and that you would definitely accept if admitted.

are deferred applicants from ED in the waitlist pool? if so why is it so low? duke and unc deferred applicants admission is about 15%

anyone? sssss

bumppppppaa

"deferred applicants from ED in the waitlist pool" just because a person was deffered does not mean he/she will be waitlisted. The person can either be ACCEPTED/Rejected/Waitlisted in the RD, the first two are self-explanatory, if your Waitlist, like i said before there is a slim chance of getting in 150/2029 which is 7%.
