Waitlist chance..

Folks,

How does this waitlist thing work? Can someone please enlighten me on this please? Scripps is my first choice LAC. Yes all my safeties were larger public universities and have a fair choice from among them, but I WANT TO GO TO SCRIPPS and would really like to know if this is even an option worth trying.

As far as I have read so far, the accepted list already factors in the actual number of students who will enroll based on their historical yield data. This means that they are fairly sure that they will not need to tap in to the WL pool.

So do I move on or still try my persistence at getting to Scripps? Also the online form to accept my place on the WL is not even reachable..

Thanks.

i had the same problem with the site for the WL…i just emailed the admissions officer. Have you resolved that issue yet?

The admissions officer will send you a link with the correct forum if uou request it of her through email.
I am waitlisted at Scripps at the moment also. It’s such a scary feeling; am I expecting too much or too little? Will I have to pay a nonrefundable enrollment deposit to my second choice school if I don’t get into Scripps?
Idk if the same questions are running through your head, but it’s great (regrettably) to know that the struggle is mutual. Good luck to you!
