Waitlist Confusion

I applied somewhat impulsively to a number of colleges that I assumed I would recieve rejections from. I was surprised to be placed on the waitlist at William and Mary, Brown, Dartmouth and the University of Pennsylvania. However, now I am faced with the dilemma of how to proceed. I have recieved acceptances to Northwestern and Emory.Brown was always my dream school, I have never visited Dartmouth (yet am very interested), Penn remains appealing however I wonder if I even have a chance to get off the waitlist. I don't know who to turn to for advice, so any insight would be appreciated.

First off, congratulations! Northwestern and Emory are wonderful schools. You should send in a deposit at one of them because it is unlikely waitlist decisions will come out before May 1, so you need a spot somewhere.
