Waitlist decisions?

So did anyone actually get in from the waitlist? I was on it but got a letter a week or so back saying that they've now filled all the spots in the class.

There is currently a second phase or the "extended waitlist," which all depends on what letter you received, but at this moment, I don't think any decisions have been made for the extended waitlisted candidates

if u go to columbia website, you'll find that columbia picked less than 2 dozen students from the waitlist..

Wow, that was just posted today, but anywho, if anyone needs the update:

Shawn L. Abbott, Senior Associate Director of Admissions

2006-05-12 09:00:00

The first-year and transfer classes for 2006 are currently full. We were only able to offer admission to an extremely small number of students (less than 2 dozen) holding a space on our waitlist this year. The vast majority of students holding a space on the first-year and transfer waitlists were released on Friday, June 2. The small number of students still holding a space on our waitlist will be notified immediately (by both e-mail and mail) if a space becomes available and we are able to offer you a spot for 2006. We will also notify (by e-mail and mail) these students still holding a space on the waitlist (in the event we are not able to offer you a spot) by the end of June. No additional information from students holding a space on the waitlist is requested at this time and we respectfully ask that you not call or write to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions with new information or to check on your waitlist status, as we will be unable to provide you with any additional helpful information."
