Waitlist - emails to college rep

Hi. I have a question about contacting a college rep from a college I was waitlisted at, specifically U of Chicago. I've alread done what my counselor suggested and sent the rep from my area an email a few weeks ago explaining why I want to go to Chicago and so on.

Most people I've asked, however, have suggested that I send an email every few weeks, so I figure I should be sending another one around now. The problem is, I'm not really sure what I should say in this email. Should I just reiterate the same things as I did in the last one, why I want to go to U of Chicago? I've been told to inform the college rep if something new happens, some new achievement or something, but as the school year is winding down, not much new is happening, so I'm not sure what to write, if anything at all.

I take it it would still be wise, though, to send Chicago my fourth quarter grades, right?

Have your counselor call and see what the situation is. It’s late now, most schools that went to the waitlist have already done so. Now it’s just a matter of maybe a few spots from summer melt if that, which means you should be getting really comfortable with a school that accepted you.
