I was wondering if any of you all could reply below about your experience with getting waitlisted from a school. Were you able to get accepted after getting waitlisted? What did you do after you got waitlisted?
I was recently waitlisted to some colleges and wanted to know what I should do. I also wanted to hear about some successes or failures after being in a waitlist.

Some undergraduate waitlist sizes suggest there is a reasonable opportunity eventually to be admitted, while others are so large (almost twice the size of the freshman class) that it’s obvious VERY few (<5 percent) of those waitlisted will be admitted. This data, as I recall, is available in the Common Data Set. It might be wise to ascertain recent waitlist-germane information for your applicable institutions.
