<p>frenchhornaddict, where are you going instead of Pomona that offered better fin aid? Everything that I have heard about Pomona is that they are competitive with almost every school on Fin aid.</p>
<p>This year, they took a lot of people off the waitlist. I’ve heard that pre-waitlist only 350-360 students decided to enroll (usually it’s more like 380-390).</p>
<p>We’ll see how many were taken off the waitlist this year, but expect a greater percentage than last year’s 3.8%</p>

<p>45% took the wait list of 601 applicants, and 50 were accepted. That’s a whopping 18.5% acceptance rate off the waitlist this year.</p>

hence, 12.89% admit rate</p>
<p>with 50 more acceptances (to 972), the overall admit rate calculates to 13.6%. I expect the final waitlist number to grow slightly, as the 50 was as of May, and June/July may shake out a handful more. We will see when the 13-14 CDS is eventually published.</p>
