No but they received an email saying they would be accepted for spring semester instead (criminal justice major)! I’m hoping this happens if there isn’t space for fall 2019 ? I’m a sociology major how about you guys??

I got notified by admissions last night! Here is the email I got: Thank you for applying to California State University, Long Beach. I appreciate your willingness to remain on our Wait List, but after reviewing the number of students who accepted our offer of admission, we do not have available space in your program for Fall 2019.
While we were not able to admit you for Fall 2019 due to space availability, based on your potential for success and self-reported academic qualifications, we would like to offer you Conditional Admission to Spring 2020 to the same major you applied to in Fall 2019!
Conditionally accepted for spring 2020! Good luck to the rest of you on the waitlist!
I just got in for fall 2019 off the waitlist this morning, but I did deny my admission. My email said this:
