My son is enrolling in Spring semester. He needs to take CSE 1222 and all sections are full. He is 4th on the wait list to a section that fits in his schedule. Any input on the probability of getting into that class?

I’d say that #4 is a decent position, but since it’s required for Engineering students, it may be tough to get into. There’s around 6 weeks before classes begin, so just keep an eye on it. In the meantime, have a backup course planned in case it doesn’t open up.

My son is #30 on waitlist for a Human Nutrition class - he was #35, so it just depends on the course. This is a Gen Ed for him, so he scheduled a different Gen Ed and will remain on the waitlist for this. He has 15 credit hours scheduled right now - the nutrition class will bump him to 18, but then he’d remove the replacement gen ed. His schedule is flexible enough to do that, but I know Engineering may be very different.

Hopefully, someone in Engineering can add some insight…
