<p>so i applied late for housing (may 8th to be exact; may 1st was deadline). what are my chances of getting a dorm? has anyone ever had experience with this? i got an email recently asking me to update my status (basically asking if i was still interested) and they said that it's typical that people don't want housing anymore so my chances were most likely. im not sure if they send that out to anyone though. around when do i usually find out? thanks in advance!</p>

<p>Your first steps are to go on facebook, craigslist, and anteater forums (link below) to look for an apartment listing. Try to apply for Arroyo Vista housing if you can get it. I would get those to ease your first year here by living with a random roommate from school instead of a totaly random roommate. </p>
