This college is really just guarding against “double-depositing.” In other words, they’re making sure that, if you say yes to them, you’re not concurrently saying yes to another school, too. If you do get admitted to your waitlist college, you simply withdraw from this school with an explanatory note, and don’t expect to get your deposit refunded.</p>
