<p>I had the opportunity to talk to the Associate Director of Admissions from Bates College in Maine and they are super selective. For small colleges, he said that students shouldn’t underestimate their ability to prove that they will be a “good fit” for the college from their end. Why will you “fit in” to their student profile, why will the school be lucky to have you, how can you communicate that? Just his advice for whatever it’s worth.</p>
