Waitlist Information

[Web Update: University admits 86 waitlisted high school seniors - The Daily Princetonian](http://www.dailyprincetonian.com/2008/05/12/21188/)

86 people have already been taken off the waitlist. Though they say some more students may be taken off, I guess it’s pretty much over already.

I really hoped to get in, but I guess it’s time to face the facts and move on…

Uh oh… sigh…

Wow, …is that it…

well… its supposed to go on until the end of june, and some people might not accept the offer. for those of you who got off the waitlist, did you guys send in a letter, additional rec, etc that you think def. helped?

Not all of those students will accept their offers though. For me, I’m really not sure if I’m going, and if I don’t accept, the spot will go to someone else, hopefully one of you two.

Continues to pray, irregardless.

Sorry, grammar freaks. (:

Yeah, let’s all hope for the best. It’s such a shame - since we all know that each one of us deserves a spot at an elite school like Princeton. Too bad the world isn’t perfect… Let’s all pray and hope regardless - if not Princeton, then for somewhere else. It’s better to hope for something, then sulk with nothing, right?

No, it’s better to get on with your life. Chances for Princeton dishing out at this point is almost 0. Like literally. So move on and love the college you’re in and think to yourself “who needs princeton anyway!!”
There’s a link on one of these threads that I used to look at whenever I got sad about Princeton. (http://usg.princeton.edu/files/Refer...eeResponse.pdf</a>)
Obviously, if I got in, this would go out the window, but until then this is nice comfort lol, if you are like me.

Hahha the link doesn’t work anymore.. I don’t blame princeton for taking it down it was 55pgs of current students detailing their disgust for the school and administration

Well there’s a pretty good chance that some of the 150-175 students that get off Harvard’s waitlist are currently enrolled at Princeton

The waiitlists will need some time to satisfy their cannibalistic urges. Then and only then will the dust settle.

No financial aid for me from Princeton :(

There’s still a chance, but that chance is very very small.

Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, padfoot. I thought Princeton was really good with financial aid though?

Eh I guess I’m just SO rich. Good thing for outside scholarships.

padfoot, that’s really weird. Princeton beat the money i got from other colleges by at least $5,000, and the majority of the time by $10,000+. This includes Cornell, which gave me two seperate scholarship.s

By the way, that is made of win and success. Irregardless; prays. The grade deflation doesn’t sound that bad…

The 86 who got off the waitlist have until tomorrow to respond (someone told me this). So hopefully the next round of waitlistees (if it exists) should start tomorrow evening.

86 had until today, 3PM to enroll. I took my spot!!! Yay
