Waitlist Letter Question:

If i'm writing a letter to a college that i've been waitlisted at to show my continued interest in their school, should the letter be more formal or informal? Also, should it be written in a really straight-forward matter or more ..."eloquently" (like college essays)?

I know there's probably not a definite answer to this, but I'm really not sure how to approach this so any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you. :]

Personally I think it should be less "eloquent" than a college essay, more straight forward. But if you want to throw in some interesting stuff it wouldn't hurt.
