To whom do we address them to? And what address do we mail them to?

I was wondering that too. Also, when should we have our letters in by?

i’m wondering the same thing…haven’t done anything yet.

Sorry to bump this up, but I’m wondering the same thing, and if anyone has already sent their letters, could you please let us know to whom and to where we mail the letter and other updates as well? :)

i wrote like a one page letter and sent my more updated grades- attached to an email. This is what is said on my applicant portal thing:

Can I send in additional material?
In order to be considered for admission from the Waiting List, you must reply to the University’s offer using the Online Reply link on the Decision Portal. No deposit is required. In addition, students may submit a letter, up-to-date grades, and lists of awards. Please limit any additional information to 2 pages. Please send additional materials to eapps@admissions.upenn.edu and we will append it to your application.

So yea I just sent it to that email but if you want to mail it i guess it would be to the office of admissions. Also i just addressed it To Whom It May Concern:

Thank you! On my portal the last sentence about e-mailing materials doesn’t exist. O_O Whew, that’s much easier than mailing. Thanks again. :)

…she just made up that last line -.-
you email your admissions officer or mail it to the admissions office

i made it up?! no i didn’t… and its not the last line on the letter. if you look on the right side under “my links”, there are three options to click on: my decision, online reply, and frequently asked questions. if you click on faq’s its the third question, at least on mine. so stupefy, you don’t have to believe me, just don’t say i made it up if you’re not sure. :)

Oh, the third question on my FAQ is “Can I learn why I was waitlisted?”. But I saw the same e-mail address at the bottom of the login page.

Are the admissions officers the ones listed here: [Penn Admissions: Contact Us](Contact Us | Penn Admissions)? I think I’ll send my documents to the eapps e-mail and wait for a reply, and if I don’t receive one by the end of next week I’ll e-mail the regional officer. ^_^

I already mailed a paper copy to them instead of email. Is this okay?

i don’t know if i should even bother sending my things in… i’m sure there are more than enough waitlistees who did amazing second semester whereas 4 out of my 6 classes dropped down to Bs. i got into duke, so i’m happy… upenn was my first choice though. did most people keep their academic performance up this semester?

For the people who had the email address in their faq, did the online reply page change after you submitted it? mine still gives me a choice to respond even though i submitted it.

I don’t have the e-mail address in my FAQ page, but I also have a choice to respond even though I already replied. I think it’s the same for everyone.

Did anyone get a reply back that they got the grades/letter/awards that we sent in? I sent my stuff to the eapps email and haven’t got any confirmation, but I don’t know if it’s a good idea to call the office to check.

Has anyone checked their Applications Info tab on the Penn Admissions site lately?
Any status changed?

^^No change in status, and no reply. My D did call to confirm they received her materials and was told that they do not confirm such information. I heard from someone in admissions on Monday (on a separate matter) and they mentioned it was early to know if they would be going to the wait list.

That doesn’t mean they won’t… hang in there everyone! From what I can see of last year, the majority of people started hearing news around the 3rd week of May.

^I called too and was told they dont confirm that

oh well.

I got a confirmation. Said that they would start reviewing in mid-May.

GL guys!

lets just hope alot of kids turned them down Over 100 waitlist acceptances this year would be nice 0:) lol

They don’t confirm whether or not they have received our additional materials?
Why not? o.O

You know what… that just may be why they have not replied back to me in the couple phone calls and emails that I have sent them… Though, they may have probably just been busy. xD Hehe… I hope it’s the latter theory.
