<p>Be prepared to do A LOT of reading for Asian American Studies. When I took the class, they already took out two of the books because students from the previous semester complained that there was too much reading. Even so, everyone was struggling to keep up with the reading each week. Also, the class is based on a 100 point scale, so you can only miss 10 points the entire semester to get an A-. Other than that, the weekly homework load depends on your GSI. The section that I switched into had a lot more homework than the previous section that I was in.</p>
