Supposedly we should find out by the 15th. That's tomorrow. I wonder if anyone got a call yet?

flipping out... like i know 99.99% i didn't get in, but that .01% is killing me... ahhh!

actually 50 got un-waitlisted out of 1000 that were initially waitlisted. so thats a 5% chance ;) tell us what happens tomorrow!

ahh wwaiiitt--- HOW are we finding out?? Mail? Phone? E-mail (nah, they're not that high-tech...)

They're mailing out tomorrow -- so those on the East Coast will find out by Tuesday, and those on the West Coast, by Wednesday.

Fandango: Mailing out what? The extended WL and "we regret to advise you..." letters? Or are there a few additional admits? How exciting--its just like April 30 all over again!

This application process has certainly been agonizing. Waiting on a waiting list is a fate that I would not wish on anybody. Who else agrees?

I got my letter today. Didn't get in off the SFS waitlist.

I recieved a letter today as well and, as I'm a California resident, I assume every waitlistee in the contiguous U.S. did too. The verdict: extended waitlist. I called the admissions office and their official position is that no one got off the list and less than one hundred were placed on the extended list. This, I observed, doesn't jive with their letter which states that they were "...able to consider only a few applicants from the waiting list." When pressed on the issue, the admissions officer admitted that "5 to 10" people were accepted; I suppose one percent or less is really pretty negligible. It's like I've been descending into Dante's depths over the course of this year, from the limbo of deferral to the first circle, reserved for the waitlisted, on down to the second circle, where go extended waitlistees.

yeh the admissions officer told me only 10 kids got off as well..so disappointing

Rejected! Finally gtown made a decision after deferring me EA and wait listing me RD. Didn't matter, wouldn't have gone. I'm off to Duke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck to the rest of you. You'll be fine wherever you end up.

rejected... now im attempting to get excited about a shiety pharmacy school. at least you guys have somewhere decent to fall down upon, like duke. end of using this website for me!

It's official-- I'm going to Emory :)

Rejected, as well.

In spite of d's additional correspondence, inquiries and achievements (inc. NMS), she was rejected today from SFS as well. At this point, she's already grown very excited about her final choice so is not disappointed. For others, who are dragged along even further on "extended WL," I think it's a particularly cruel turn of events.

Same here. S not offered a position at SFS from the waitlist. It's OK, though, he's off to Dartmouth!

Rejected from the college.

BTW, has anyone been accepted off the waitlist from CC?
