waitlist - ppl already got in!!

omg, omg, omg...i'm scared

haven't gotten anything

^ me either!

AHHHH if i dont get in my family will be so ****ed!!!

“Applicants on the Waiting List will be sent an email notifying them to check this Online Decisions site when their status on the Waiting List changes.”

this statement on the online decisions site, along with Furda’s statement that all waitlist activity will be complete by graduation, seems to imply that all waitlisted students will receive an e-mail notifying them either of acceptance or rejection…

Dont panic - My guess is that it is a gradual process of admissions, they admit people as they are evaluated. The rejectees will be notified im sure once admissions are over.

Jakeesha - I’m sure you will do well at any school considering the merit of being waitlisted - there were simply too small of an amount of seats.

i didnt get an email saying yes or no. i got nothing so i guess i just have to keep waiting

I imagine certain regions are evaluated separately. I know that my rep (upstate NY) is going to be across the country (TX) all week. So I doubt she even had a chance to look over any of our applications with the admissions staff. I also know another rep will be away until the 26th. So hopefully well know more by tomorrow.

the people who got accepted, were any of them from northern new jersey?

Kimmy, I just checked the decisions website and could not find what you just quoted. Where did you find that statement?

the part i quoted is the bold part in the middle of the page

[Fewer waitlist acceptances expected this year - News](http://media.www.dailypennsylvanian.com/media/storage/paper882/news/2009/04/14/News/Fewer.Waitlist.Acceptances.Expected.This.Year-3708725.shtml)
the part about Furda’s statement is a little more than halfway through the article…
