okay so i was waitlisted today…Davis was towards my top but not necessarily first. i got into sb and slo for econ/business and i like them a lot too. here is the situation im curious about:

if i decide to accept the waitlist to Davis, and accept my offer to UCSB…

and then get into davis off the waitlist, am i obligated to go there? or could i still decide to stay at UCSB. im pretty torn between them…

you can forfeit the 100 thing to sb and spend another 100 on davis. or just not go to davis and dont pay money

oh okay so no obligation, cool. i might not take the offer but thats good to know if im still undecided by the april 15th deadline. thanks!

no problem i was waitlisted too but i realllyyyyy wanna go to Davis so if i get in i’ll accept for sure haha

nice! haha i was set on davis since freshman year till last week i realized that the economics program doesn’t go very in depth like ucsb, and sb has emphasis for accounting which i like. i really love the davis campus and college town though.

i’m rooting for u bookworm! hang in there!

Hi, i also have a question :]

So I have also been waitlisted. Where exactly does it tell you which major you’ve been waitlisted to? I applied to Academic Options Program (Undeclared - Physical Sciences) and alternate-Computer Engineering. The waitlist thing doesn’t tell me. Note I haven’t accepted it just yet. Does it tell you after?

^not exactly sure about that but i got an email about being wait listed and at the bottom it said Department of Electrical Engineering (or something like that) so I’m assuming its to your major that u applied to in the beginning.

Edit: When i accepted the wait list today I did not notice anything specific about majors.
