I was waitlisted at wes, but I never finished my application (I never sent scores or a mid-year report) if I send those in do I have a good chance of getting accepted?

My son is waitlisted, too. Why didn’t you complete your application? Goes to show that schools are very nervous about the economy and will waitlist rather than deny an application. If you really want to go to Wesleyan it seems you would do whatever it takes to stand out from other waitlisted applicants.

I thought I did at first, but when I did the wescheck I saw that they never received those two items… and I thought it was to late to send them in.

That’s too bad. The other wailist letters my son has received say to send a letter with most recent grades, and really sell yourself. Other than that it all depends on how many accepted applicants confirm their places. Good luck.

bumpppppppppppppppppppp

I think your chances are as good as anyone elses. Obviously it didn’t hurt you that you sent your scores in late. But I am not gonna lie, it seems that chances of anyone getting in are pretty low. It all depends on how many people accept a place on the waitlist and who says yes to Wesleyan.
