Hopefully it will all become clear within a week or so! Anyone call
admissions lately to see how their responses are going?

Where should we e-mail them or something to express continued interest (I'm really happy where I'm going, but it would be nice to be taken off, you know?)

According to the date last year, we have 5 days left or maybe fewer.

Hopefully we'll find out this week...and hopefully they'll be generous! :-X

well the numbers aren't looking as nice as last years, but they're still more promising than say, MIT.

Three more days left!

I don't think there's any sort of countdown here, people. The waitlist is something used only if needed and in the capacity needed; there really doesn't seem to be any standard protocol for how to go about using it. It may be 10 days or more before they decide to go to it - and even if they do, it's highly likely that those who receive calls will not be members of CC.

Looking at last years threads, several people on CC were called and accepted to Princeton on May 13, and that forum was less active last year than this year.

In addition, this year there should be fewer people or, at most, the same number of people on the waitlist. Any decisions to take people off the waitlist should occur between now and May 13.

Anyway, you're right, cavalier302; this is all speculation.

but speculation sure makes u feel more optimistic

I'm not too much of a speculation fan, it gets me tense and nervous and uncomfortable for no particular reason.

I'd rather have a phone on my ear with a Princeton adcom officer saying "We want you" or something less discrete like "WE CAN DO IT! (with you!)".
