I am trying to find waitlist outcomes from previous years for JMU. I just got waitlisted from JMU. Earlier this week I got into tech. I heard only 3.6% were actually accepted off the waitlist at tech.

Well I found some information.
"The university placed 795 applicant(s) on its wait list. 235 wait-listed applicants were admitted to the semester for which they applied."

slowed, Getting WL at JMU may be more of a school size numbers issue with you vs. your numbers/stats. You should be very proud of the academic progress you made this year! JMU is sure to have wanted to accept you, but with the sizes of the applicant pools this year (all of those 1990 babies!) and their class space and lodging space, I will bet they had to restrict some areas, namely transfers. With Tech being a larger university than JMU it isn't as much of an issue. Be happy with what you have achieved and good luck as you continue your education! You will be fine no matter where you go to school if you continue working as hard as you have.
