Waitlist success stories

OMG

CSU Long Beach is now full

:(

Tufts is releasing their decisions by the end of this month if not this week. according to the tufts CC board. So time to pray

im gna take a wild guess that the above poster is Jewish

… and your point is…?

well my mothers mom is a WASP so actually I am not considered jewish by orthodox jews. also i mentioned to my friend that I would probably go to a mass over a synagogue if i do get in. Also i was not a bar mitzah. But i do have a stereotypical last name. So call me what you want, but i am jewish by heritage but not practice

Couple of days ago I got in to NYU from their waitlist. Arts and sciences too lol (All of my friends who aplied to NYU initially got in without any waitlist, while I got into a lot of good schools they were rejected from… nyu was like a safety, and boy was I surprised to learn I wasn’t accepted at first.. everybody was like Hmm oh well, you probably applied to Stern, that’s sort of hard to get in to, and I’d have to reply ‘no, I applied to arts and sciences!’).

Anybody gotten off the waitlist for MIT yet? ( I mean either informed either way- be it rejection or acceptance)

article in Yale Daily News on 5/16/08

[Yale Daily News - Amid upheaval at other top-ranked schools, Yale yield holds steady](http://www.yaledailynews.com/articles/view/24782)

Does anyone think it’s odd that Michigan hasn’t had any activity on the waitlist, or have I missed something? Still waiting…

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I also wonder what Michigan’s doing for waitlist

I got in off the Wake Forest waitlist today! That will open up another spot at the University of Richmond.

Brown is definitely active -someone from another forum got in

I don’t know if this has already mentioned, but this article claims an unusual number of students will be let off the waitlist this year:

anxious428: what do you mean by “first rounds”?

Adding Brown to the list, a kid from Canada got in off the waitlist yesterday and posted in the Brown forum. I’m putting that in brackets until we get confirmation of more admits. :D
