No more movement today, sigh… No one can really know our chances, just tell us what progress you are making on the lists, give us all hope that these things move…

The waitlist does move; I was #2 when I registered and today I’m #1 on the waitlist (for HILD7A). Hopefully someone drops or they open up more seats. :)

5th for math now…

For Chem6a students, you all noticed how there were originally 35 seats available for

discussion. However, it was changed to 38 several days before the wait lists moved, so I

believe the shift we experienced on Monday (mine was 3 spaces from 5 to 2) was just then

shifting students who were in the top 3 spots. Anyways, they said (in some e-mail I recieved

from the Chem department) they would be doing this shift, and attempting to “accommodate”

the rest of us, but I don’t know when this will happen… gahh just 2 spots and I’m in…

Moved up to #3 for Math 20C! (:

Yay, moved up one spot on both lists !!! Now #1 in COGS11 and #3 in MATH20A.

1 Chem 6A

1 Ethn 1A

Come on beezies someone drop his/her spot already!!

Got into Phil27… then again, I was 1st on the waitlist, haha.

Still #7 on chem 87 :(

Number 5. I’m so close. I’ve jumped up 6 spots in 2 days.

Still #3 for MATH 20C, but I’m in for CHEM 6A (guess they added a new section?). But it’s w/ Czworkowski, so not much to celebrate? :P

I’m #1 for Chem 6A. During the said shift a few days ago, I jumped 7 spots, and I haven’t moved since then. Bleh.

Is anyone ordering books for waitlisted classes?

@Blackberry: They havent added a new section… yet. So far its just the same classes. I think people have just been starting to drop and they added in those 3 extra spots.

@Avib0y I think they have. I’m enrolled in Section B08 (12:00p - 12:50p F), which isn’t on the schedule of classes.

@Blackberry: Well, I’m just going to have to take your word for it since you probably got the email and I dont see it on the course list

Up to #1 on the two classes I waitlisted but having a financial aid nightmare now.

American Sign Language Conversation: Pos 1
American Sign Language Analysis: Pos 2
Intro to Thater: Pos 2

sigh, I hate my life.
This right here leaves me with 9 units = No full disbursion of financial aid.

WHY WONT THEY LET US SIGN UP FOR MORE UNITS SO WE CAN GET OUR MONEY?
STUPID STUPID STANDARD OPERATION PROCEDURES KILLING ME

I’m in a similar position with 11 units registered and 8 waitlisted. Astrina mentioned that there are situations in which an academic counselor can put you into an already full class. I emailed one asking them to do it for me because I am already first on the waitlist. Since you are also in first position for at least one class, you could try asking too. I’ll post what the outcome is when I get an answer.

“WHY WONT THEY LET US SIGN UP FOR MORE UNITS SO WE CAN GET OUR MONEY?”
You’d rather have it so all the upperclassmen plus tons of *******s sign up for all the classes leaving you with no spots to enroll in? Please.

If you have something as crucial as thousands of dollars of financial aid hinging on your enrolling in 12 credits, wouldn’t you think it prudent to… Oh, I don’t know… make sure you enroll in 12 credits FIRST and then waitlisting for the rest of your allowed credits on classes like “Intro to Thatre” and ASL.

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but I’m in a rather chipper mood. It’s all for your own good, I promise you.
