Well, that would sound right if the waitlisted classes were not the core classes needed to progress. When you have a late registration time, the classes that you get into are the less important “fillers” and you don’t dare just register for 12 units of fluff and not waitlist at least some important stuff. Believe me, if I could have gotten into my core classes first, I wouldn’t care what the heck the fillers were. But once the cores have waitlists, you better be on them or you get 100% fluff.

that post was more directed towards J. Yoo. Based on his past posts, you can see he had a pretty damn good registration time compared to most freshmen.

Guys! You’ll get into your damn core classes. I literally don’t know one person last year who couldn’t take Chem or Math due to lack of spots. You may get a ****ty professor or time, but more than likely you’ll get in.

Yay! Got into the new chem 6A section. Fri 4-4:50 p.m. D08 w/ Stuart.

I don’t know if you guys can switch over.

How about waitlists for Poli Sci, do they move reasonably well?

For those who might be wondering, the answer to my email about getting an exception to class limits when you are first on the waiting list in order to get financial aid to release before the deadline was a firm no. They said you can appeal to the department but not to expect any help there either. On the other hand, most of the financial aid did disburse yesterday even at only 11 units. They only held back part of it. Best news of the day.

what about #2 for math 10A with Stevens?

yay! waitlist position for 6BL moved from 3 to 2…

i’ve moved from #4 to #2 for PSYC60 right when i signed up for the class, but i haven’t budged in about 5 days. :[
