can you guys pos the email you got please?

They e-mailed the decision and it is also posted online. The following is the e-mail:

Dear kriegs4790,

Congratulations! You have been admitted to the University of Pennsylvania. Thank you for agreeing to remain on our Waiting List, your patience has been rewarded!

Please go to [Penn Admissions](http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/decisions) for your official letter of admission and your opportunity to accept this offer. You must reply by Tuesday, May 26, 2009. Contact eapps@admissions.upenn.edu for assistance if you have trouble logging in to the website.

The thick envelope is in the mail!

Thank you,
Eric J. Furda
Dean of Admissions
University of Pennsylvania

When was the email sent? Also, if we haven’t received anything from them at this point does that mean we are not being taken off the WL?

Please advise.

Chances are all wait list acceptances have been mailed out, and those who have not gotten an acceptance letter will most likely not get one. This is assuming hundreds of people who have committed to attend dont get off other wait lists and leave too many open spots at Penn.

My guess is that it is a gradual process of admissions, they admit people as they are evaluated. The rejectees will be notified im sure once admissions are over.

I read somewhere that they evaluate applicants based on region, so it is possible your state’s files aren’t even being read right now.

kriegs = ■■■■■

Proof? (10char)

I live in NYC. Did anyone who lives in NY hear back?

I got the same email! I’m so excited!

I agree… might just be ■■■■■■■■. I don’t think Furda would make such an egregious grammatical error in an acceptance letter (comma splice).

has anyone gotten off the waitlist for wharton?

I’m also waiting to hear back from the Wharton WL… I called the admissions office today, and she said they were going to start notifying people TODAY, and all through… latest June 15th. ■■■.

TODAY has past, but results are still on the way…
