Trying to get off two waitlists... Pepperdine and Chapman. What can I do to improve my chances? Call, write, what? Thanks in advance!!

Write a letter to the admissions office. Update them about achievements since you applied and tell them how much you want to attend. If you give them the impression that you would be extremely happy to attend if accepted, the likelihood of getting accepted increases significantly.

cava… Thanks for the advice. Has this worked for anyone?

The admissions dean at Duke says

Yeah, that Dean probably destroyed many witlistees’ hope

Would a 60 sec video be inappropriate to send to the admissions office? Would that be a good idea?

Probably only for Duke. I doubt many other admissions officers would be extremely pleased to receive a video like that.
