Congrats to all! I was waitlisted and wanted to know if much of a shot of gaining admission. Advised there were 6,800 applicants, so I assume many waitlisted. It was mentioned that only 23% of applicants accept enrollment which seems low.
Like this college very much

Stats: 3.4 UW GPA
SAT: CR 780; Math 570; Writing: 710
Good recs ; French Club ; Nat'l Honor Society; many community service projects
White, male, downstate NY
Undecided on major
Very good essay

"23% of applicants accept enrollment" = 23% of accepted students end up going there? That does seem low, but I guess it makes sense if you count people who think of this as a "safety" and people who can't afford it...

I'd say if you're going to stay on the waitlist send them something.. another essay or rec letter to prove Skidmore is really your first choice.

That said, I hope people who are sure they are not going fill out the provided "no thank you" slip ASAP out of respect for waitlist candidates.
