Waitlist!!!

<p>Does anybody know anything about the wait list - what the yield rate was so far compared to other years, and how many kids accepted a place on the wait list? What does everybody think our chances are?</p>

<p>I was accepted off of the waitlist as well, but will be declining Johns Hopkins' offer. Good luck to those on the waitlist for whom JHU is their number one choice.</p>

<p>Palmbeach, that's a stupid comment.
Both are excellent schools, and are better at some things than others. Cornell has an excellent engineering program, while JHU has excellent pre-med for undergrad, for example. I'm gonna head to Georgetown SFS to study international affairs, so i'll hopefully give the chance to someone else to come off the waitlist who really wants to go to JHU.</p>
