correction after 3/10 before 4/10

i think it’s actually 4/11 because 4/10 is the last day to accept.
does anyone know how you are contacted?

So many Deerfield waitlists!

Yeshhhh!!!

As for Deerfield-YES. They have one of the longest waitlist compared to other top schools. I was waitlisted there last fall, and as far as I know, no one got accepted from my state (CA)

I was waitlisted at deerfield, groton, SPS
My advisor and my mom have both called the schools. At deerfield and groton they ARE NOT TAKING ANY GIRLS APPLYING TO THE 9TH GRADE OFF THE WAITLIST. At SPS they are a little looser and won’t say anything until monday because they’re afraid that some people are gonna send in their checks late today.
I think especially people applying to 10th and to the phillips have a better chance…
I go to a prep school that runs up to 9th and from what i’ve heard the current 9th graders fared a lot better to big boarding schools and the 8th graders to the possible places to be a day student in my area, like middlesex, concord, st. mark’s, groton

What happens to a dream deferred? Does it dry up like a raisin in the sun? Or fester like a sore And then run? Does it stink like rotten meat? Or crust and sugar over like a syrupy sweet? Maybe it just sags like a heavy load. Or does it explode? Langston Hughes.

I hope that you find that poem soothing. Good luck to everyone !

A dream deferred. Is that Langston Hughes or Franz Kafka??? And which is your favorite Kafka work?

That is definately Langston Hughes! I studied him last year!!
