I checked my status online last night, and found to my disappointment I was waitlisted. Am I the only one who did not seem to get some sort of acceptance last night? I thought I as pretty qualified for CMU (good scores, grades and ec's ), but i guess not...
I thoguht they sent non-acceptances in later waves?
I did only apply to one school and that was CIT.

I had the same result. I applied to CIT only, and i thought i was well qualified, but i was waitlisted.

Its not as big a deal for me, though, because CMU isn't my first choice school.

toasteroven...what are your stats? and are you male or female?

Waitlisted at CIT too.

Gender: Male
State or Country: Texas
SAT (M:CR:W): 2200 (730 CR, 750 M, 720 W)
SAT II scores: 800 Math II, 750 Physics, 790 US History

^My stats were around yours. I had a higher sat1, but lower top SAT 2. My gpa was much higher than CIT average gpa.

I just find it really weird that they sent out waitlists out so soon. I had a blank line (though this theory looks like it might not be right?) early march, which means they prolly had me on the waitlist quite early in the process, which is a little weird. Specailly since being on the waitlist means I am in their gray area, but that they decided quite early that I would be in their gray area.....

odd thing is in "my cmu", they said they are sending my fin aid eligibility letter on march 24th. Do they like to rub it in? lol.

So odd..Don't know what they are thingking about...
