does anyone know when they reply to waitlist
specifically lincoln center?

i just got off the wl here a week or so ago. i think they have been doing it since then, and perhaps right now too

I Hope i get off the waitlist soon, can’t wait but if i dont get off the wait-list **** them

rose what were your stats

after visitng the two campuses (the other one i enrolled in) and fordham lincoln center which i am currently waitlisted on
i really love fordhams vibe and academia and focus and idea of being well rounded.

did you guys do any extra measures such as write a letter. I have a letter almost done I’m gonna send it tomorrow but I hope it’s not too late. It really is my top choice school now just don’t have that option yet.

yeah what are your stats to get off the waitlist?

also when did you guys return the waitlist?
i think it also depends on a time.

So I just inquired through e-mail about the waitlist heres the response:

Thank you for your email. At this point, it does not look like we are
going to have activity from the waiting list.
You should receive communication from Fordham regarding the waitling list
soon.

=/ am i interpreting it correctly as: they have already fufilled their target undergraduate class number and will most likely not take anymore from the waitlist?

I got something Different but i guess along the same lines

Waqas,
While we do not offer interviews, you explained your interest in your
e-mail. We do not know if we will be going to the waitlist. If we do, we
consider interest in Fordham, so by contacting me, you have helped your
chances. Please let me know if you have any questions in the months to
come.

I personally did not follow up or send anything after being put on the waiting list (besides the waiting list form of course). But I do think it would help to send an e-mail, make a phone call, or send updated info.

Also, I don’t think I had the greatest ‘stats’ from the waiting list pool - a 26 act and around top 15% of my class. However, I think they really took into account my upward gpa trend, passionate activities, recommendations, and essay. I hope that helps, but if not, at the very least it might give you hope that it isn’t all about the numbers! :)

I really hope you guys can get off the waiting list! Crossing my fingers…
Best of luck!

thanks rose for your continued support
as for me i did not fall in the top 15% of my class =[ therefore i guess i was not competitive enough
BUT there lies hope I guess because perhaps some who enrolled were waitlisted at other schools that ranked higher for them and in turn might withdraw in the summer.

that’s what i’m assuming by what they’re insinuating as at this point

i wrote a letter of interest/intent so i will probably send it tomorrow along with an acknolwedgement that the waitlist may be inactive.
good luck everybody still wanting to get in =]

iwantfordham and everyone else on the waitlist: I really hope you guys make it in. I know how it feels; I was deferred early action, but through hard work and lots of expressed interest, I made it in. So I think sending the letters should be helpful. And your comment about the summer is right; spots can still open up later on. So don’t lose hope!
