yeeee ACCEPTED! =]

looking through the waitlist posts from last year… they had to wait an entire week before they heard about any other acceptances AND those were only because of people declining the waitlist acceptance and people retracting their SIR’s =/

yes i’m waiting…major is biomedical engineering, not expecting much :
but it would really change my life if i got in…

if i don’t get in… it’ll be community college for me. joy.

Why don’t you go to UC merced?

cause i really wanna go to Davis. so i guess i’d transfer from community.

I got in today!!! aww this is really tough right now im currently enrolled at SB. love them both so much…its kind of a bummer i only have til friday to choose. good luck to everyone

EE Major
I’m SO HAPPY
Hope you all waiting on the waitlist get in as well :D

go to SB!!! give me your spottttt. hahah nah choose wherever u wanna go, congrats for getting in!

thank you Davis for giving me a heartattak with an email just telling me to hang tight -__-

to anyone else who is getting in:

PLEASE put a screen capture of the admissions site saying you got in! i can’t get back there since my SIR is done. i wanna show my parents/friends/family!

I got the email as well! DX

i have a question. if i submit my sir am i obliged to attend 100%…cuz im not sure i can decide by this friday and i need to visit again but i have an AP test this friday…there arent make up dates for AP’s right? ahhh this is stressful (but a good stressful) haha. i need to buy some time!

SIR just guarantees you a spot in the college. You’re not obligated to attend when you send your SIR. So you can send SIR to other school (but it’s over by now may 1st was deadline for UC) but in the end you’ll be wasting 100 dollars But if it helps you should definitely send SIR to Davis and have more time with your decision!

ok thank you!!! so i guess ill have to SIR’s in… lol

What are your options jack?

You can’t SIR more than one UC.

awwwww uh oh. ya its ucsb and davis. really?

so i would be obliged to go to davis if i send it? it would completely take away SB as an option?

Unless they change the rules since 2008. My friend was told to get a confirmed letter from the previously SIRed UC (stating that he is not attending) in order to be able to send SIR to another UC. Not sure how they check it though.
